Valtteri Bottas was already under the 1:17s with his fastest time in FP2. Lewis Hamilton just missed that, but it looks like both Mercedes drivers at Mugello will fight for the win again.

Behind the Mercedes came Red Bull Racing. Verstappen was still able to keep up with Mercedes' times, but for Alexander Albon, it was already a bit more difficult. The Thai was almost a second from the top. Renault look like the favourites to win the best of the rest battle this weekend, but Racing Point and McLaren won't be far behind when it comes to qualifying this afternoon.
