Formula 1 FP2 2019 Canadian GP Liveblog - Hamilton hits the wall!

The racing is back and this time Formula 1 heads to Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton secured another win last time out in Monaco but how will the weekend unfold in Canada?

Mercedes have been utterly dominant this season, winning every race so far in 2019 with Lewis Hamilton claiming four and Valtteri Bottas two. They continued their run in free practice one, finishing 0.9s ahead of their closest rival in Charles Leclerc. Can anyone get close to the Silver Arrows or will it be another day of domination for the reigning champions?

Well the midfield is as unpredictable as ever, Carlos Sainz won the battle in Monaco but it really is there for the taking! Could we see Kimi Raikkonen bounce back after a few disappointing results, will Toro Rosso continue to impress or will Williams take a step forward with the new Mercedes power unit? Antonio Giovinazzi will have a lot of ground to make up for as well after tagging the wall in FP1 and losing vital track time.
