There has been some flooding ahead of the Grand Prix, which could potentially cause trouble during the rest of the weekend, but luckily, the dry desert climate could rescue the grid.

Championship leader Lando Norris talked about the turnaround he achieved over the course of season after a worse start to 2025.

The British driver, who is set to compete in his 150th Formula 1 Grand Prix this weekend, now has a firm grip on the 2025 drivers' championship, as he leads Oscar Piastri by 24 points and Max Verstappen by 49 points in the drivers' standings.  

In Las Vegas, Norris reflected on his difficulties during the first part of the season. He explained: "It's hard not to do a better job than what I was doing at the beginning of the season. I certainly struggled at the beginning of the year, and we've changed some little things on the car that we think – not all of them are even guarantees.
