The Formula 1 world was in turmoil due to the dismissal of Christian Horner, but Max Verstappen made a lightning visit to Netherlands. What was the reason for his visit?
On Tuesday morning, data from Max Verstappen’s private jet showed he flew to the Netherlands. The four-time Formula 1 world champion departed from Nice and landed at Aarlanderveen Airport in South Holland. The visit was brief.

Where was Verstappen headed?

At the end of Tuesday, Verstappen left for home. Verstappen took off from Nes aan de Amstel, in North Holland, to eventually land again in Nice, near his home in Monaco. However, Verstappen didn't stay home for long as he departed on Wednesday morning to a yet unknown destination.

The trip to the Netherlands came at a time when the Formula 1 world was in turmoil due to the dismissal of Max Verstappen's team boss Christian Horner.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Horner had been dismissed by Red Bull, though Verstappen was already informed. According to manager Raymond Vermeulen, Red Bull had already briefed the star driver.
