Verstappen 'taps a beer' and links up with Premier League footballer and star DJ

Verstappen has taken a photo together with Liverpool footballer Virgil van Dijk and DJ Martin Garrix. That latter has been friends for years with the Dutchman from Red Bull Racing is no secret. McLaren driver Lando Norris is also a good friend of the DJ.

Verstappen talked about their friendship in 2024. “Martijn did the prize-giving (at the Sports Gala, ed.), but that completely fell through because I was in a taxi in England at the time and the live connection kept dropping. After that we had some contact and I ran into him spontaneously on holiday in Ibiza. And we just clicked really well.”

Verstappen had also previously taken a photo with Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk. The important defender of the Dutch national team was already part of a Heineken advertisement, together with Verstappen. Indeed, it is not the first time that Martin Garrix and Virgil van Dijk have been hanging out near Verstappen, as the two regularly come to watch him at Grands Prix.

Verstappen posted the image with the words: "Caption this..."

Many answered the Dutchman's wish. "I only see 3 Dutch kings in their respective disciplines," one user wrote.
