How long have Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet been together?

Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet have been a couple for quite some time now. Allegedly, the two have been together since the end of 2020. Estimated to be since October of that year. The couple announced their relationship at the beginning of 2021, through a post on New Year's Day.

Verstappen and Piquet had meet each other earlier. In fact, since 2016, there was talk of a magical connection between the two, but before the couple got together, Piquet was in a relationship with former Red Bull Racing driver Daniil Kvyat. With him, she had her first child, Penelope. She was born in July 2019 and the two broke up in December 2019.

Just before the Grand Prix weekend in Miami in 2025, Verstappen and Piquet's first child was born, a daughter named Lily Verstappen. At the end of 2024, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together.

Currently, Verstappen and Piquet have been together for over four years. By the end of this year, it will be five years. There's no news of an engagement between the two, but the Brazilian seemed to have previously misspoke about being 'married' to an F1 driver.
