Jackie Stewart speaks highly of Christian Horner. The three-time world champion believes Red Bull Racing's great successes are due in no small part to the team boss, who has led the Austrian formation since 2005.
"Terrific year, wonderful year," Stewart told PlanetF1.com. The 84-year-old Brit is impressed by Horner's work at Red Bull Racing. "Remarkable for Red Bull. They’re run by a very good man [Horner]. Management is very important and he’s the capital of motorsport at the present time."
According to Sir. Stewart - knighted in 2001 - Horner has done an "amazingly good job". He says the same applies to Max Verstappen, making Red Bull Racing a combination that is "difficult to beat". Stewart is a big fan of Verstappen, yet he does not call the 26-year-old Dutchman the best driver ever (yet). That honour belongs to someone else, namely Argentine Juan Manuel Fangio.

Juan Manuel Fangio

Fangio became Formula 1 world champion five times. "Mr. Fangio for me will never be beaten," Stewart said. "He was for me, the greatest man of all time. Great dignity, great style. I had the privilege of carrying him to his last resting place but we’ll see what happens in the future." Fangio died in 1995.
