Congratulations Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian and seven-time GP winner blows out 31 candles. With almost ten years in F1 Ricciardo can join the group of experienced drivers including Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.
Just before the start of the 2020 season, the Honey Badger will be 31 years old. The Renault driver probably didn't expect to be able to start the 2020 season until he was 31. However, four months after the planned start in his home country of Australia, the F1 will start in Austria this weekend.
Whether Ricciardo can celebrate his birthday remains to be seen. He certainly can't do it big, because he and his team are busy preparing for the first race. This year Esteban Ocon's smiling team mate hopes to be stronger than last year.

Ricciardo ready for the start

In 2018, Ricciardo signed a million-dollar contract, which earned him the seat at Renault. However, after this year the driver will leave his seat empty again as he makes the switch to McLaren. Ricciardo indicated that it will probably create a somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere within the team. Nevertheless he seems to be ready for this season.
