Perez already on his next move? "I was approached by another team."

The rumour mill is running at full speed in Formula 1 with Sebastian Vettel, Sergio Perez and Racing Point starring. Vettel is still without a seat for 2021 and Perez's place at Racing Point seems to be the most logical move for the German at the moment.

The Mexican reacted rather surprised to the rumor that he might have to leave Racing Point. "In Formula 1, you never know until you're going to start the race if you're going to be racing", Perez said at the press conference according to Motorsport.com.

What's remarkable is that Perez hasn't said a single time that he stays with the team. He said several times that he has a long-term contract, but 'nothing is certain in Formula 1'.

During the week, obviously the rumours came out, and we actually got contacted by a team in the paddock - I won't say names obviously - and also by other teams in categories, which was quite a surprise, because we have a contract for next year here", continues Perez.

"At the moment, there are just rumours around. Nothing more to add from my side other than we've got a contract in place", concludes Perez.
