Lewis Hamilton has taken pole position in an impressive way for the Styrian Grand Prix. He had to brave a soaking Red Bull Ring. From the first to the last part of qualifying it kept raining hard. Actually it's a miracle that the session could go on at all.
He told Sky Sports: "If I'm honest. What a difficult day. The weather was very difficult. Sometimes you can't even see where you're going. I had a huge moment. I had my heart in my throat. In the end I was able to drive a good round. I love days like this!
"For us it would have been better if it had stayed dry, but I'm always happy with rain. Tomorrow it will stay dry. But I'm glad that the session went without problems for us."
