The story is familiar by now: Verstappen had to come from P9, but within 15 laps he was already in second place. From there it was chasing Sergio Perez and thanks to an amazingly long first stint, he eventually drove to victory relatively easily.
Are there other candidates for the 'GPblog Driver of the Day' title? Sure, maybe Fernando Alonso, who managed to score his fourth podium in five races. Or Kevin Magnussen, who cleverly took a point on behalf of Haas F1. Or perhaps Lewis Hamilton after all, after moving up from P13 to sixth. Let us know in the poll below!
