Valtteri Bottas had to make up about twenty seconds secure himself second place in Hungary after pitting for hard tyres. However, the Mercedes driver failed to overtake Max Verstappen. In his first reaction, Bottas says
"It was a pretty bad race from me, to be honest. Starting second, obviously, we aim to win the race. But I lost it from the start, I reacted to a light on my dash that went off. I don't know what it was," Bottas explains the reason for his jump-start as the lights went out. As a result, the Mercedes driver dropped to seventh place.
"I lost many places and it made the race pretty difficult for me."
