and that Marko's departure was likely to be the outcome. Now, that move has been made just two days after the end of the season.

"It has been a wonderful time that I have been able to help shape and share with so many talented people. Everything we have built and achieved together fills me with pride.
"Narrowly missing out on the world championship this season has moved me deeply and made it clear to me that now is the right moment for me personally to end this very long, intense, and successful chapter.
"I wish the entire team continued success and am convinced that they will be fighting for both world championship titles again next year.“
Marko brings curtain down on Red Bull career
Marko's role as advisor of Red Bull saw the Austrian team grow from when they took over from Jaguar in 2005 to become one of the biggest forces in the pinnacle of motorsport.
Along with that, the 82-year-old also played a huge role as the head of Red Bull's Junior Program, brining through some of the greatest drivers
F1 has seen.
Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel, both four-time World Champions, are just two of the 17 drivers who made it into F1 after being a part of the program that Marko oversaw, while Isack Hadjar will be the latest of the young drivers to make it into Red Bull, driving alongside Verstappen in 2026.
