Formula 1 presents the layout of the longest street circuit in Saudi Arabia

Formula 1 will visit Saudi Arabia for the first time in 2021 for a race on the street circuit of Jeddah. The layout of this circuit has now been announced by Formula 1 for the first time.

Formula 1 will come to Saudi Arabia for the first time in 2021 to race on the street circuit of Jeddah. Until now nothing was known about the circuit, but with this video the Formula 1 presents the new lay-out. The new circuit will be the longest street circuit on the calendar, with a length of 6.175 metres.

The circuit in Jeddah is similar to Baku. Also in Azerbaijan we find a street circuit where high speeds can be reached, although the lay-out in Jeddah seems to give away that there are more technical corners to be found here. The circuit has a total of 25 corners and on average a speed of 250 km/h can be reached.
