George Russell and Max Verstappen nearly collided under the safety car during the Canadian Grand Prix. Now, after the race, Red Bull is attempting to take action.

It was recently announced that Russell and Mercedes must meet with the stewards at 17:50 local time because Red Bull Racing has lodged a protest against him.

After Lando Norris crashed into the barriers, a safety car was deployed. During which Verstappen and Russell had a near-collision. Verstappen said that Russell aggressively braked, while Russell accused Verstappen of attempting to overtake him under safety car conditions.
Verstappen has one more penalty point before a race ban gets triggered. Before the race, Russell made a cheeky comment on how he had more points to play with on his license.
