FiA uncover regulation changes for 2019 season

The FIA has confirmed the first set of technical regulation changes for 2019 after a meeting at the FIA headquarters in Paris. 
Techincal regulation changes for 2019:
  • An increase of fuel allowance in the race from 105kg to 110kg in order to use the engine at full power at all times
  • Separate the weight of the car from the weight of the driver
  • Drivers required to wear biometric gloves 
2021 power unit regulations update:
  • 1.6 litre engine
  • V6 turbo hybrid 
  • Deletion of MGU-H exhaust energy recovery

Discussions regarding the potential changes to the aerodynamics are ongoing. The FIA confirmed they will be announced by the end of this month following research and consultation.
