Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton both try to set a good example for young Formula 1 viewers, but they have more than that in common. Hamilton is usually very open about the fact that he was bullied in the past, but Vettel was also the target of bullying at school. This is evident from an old television clip that recently surfaced.

Vettel was target of bullying

The footage shows a very young Vettel in an interview with RTL, who says he once took a trophy to school to show his classmates. However, as soon as he arrived with his trophy, it was immediately taken away and smashed by a group of jealous children who called the driver a "show-off". Needless to say, that was the first and also the last time he took a trophy to school.
It is now safe to say that Vettel has the last laugh, because the German has won the world championship four times with Red Bull Racing and is one of the biggest names in the premier class of motor sport. However, the road to the top is often anything but easy.
