The Mexican Grand Prix started dramatically for Max Verstappen. The Dutchman fell back to last place after a touch with Lewis Hamilton and then further contract with Valtteri Bottas.
The Red Bull Racing driver had a good start and seemed to catch Hamilton in the first corner, but a touch followed at the exit. Verstappen shot straight ahead and fell back to behind Bottas in eighth place.
In the stadium section, Verstappen managed to catch the Mercedes driver, but the right rear tyre of Verstappen's RB15 was tapped. A flat tyre was the result, so Verstappen had to drive a whole lap with a flat tyre to get back to his team in the pit lane.
