In less than a month, the new title of the F1 simulation racing game will be on the market. Slowly the news dripped out and now the first images of the split-screen multiplayer mode have come out. Watch the video above and judge for yourself.

With the split-screen mode, Codemasters adds a whole new interplay function to the game. Never before have you been able to play against your own friends on one console in F1 games. It remains to be seen whether it works properly and whether you're not too distracted by the other screen above or below you. The hope is that it provides more fun with the game.
