Mercedes wants the FIA to take another look at Max Verstappen's defensive actions against Lewis Hamilton after new video footage from Verstappen's car appeared. In this way, the Dutchman might still face a penalty. Hamilton himself saw little harm in the fight with Verstappen.

This is what a world championship fight should be like

In the post-race press conference at the Brazilian Grand Prix, Hamilton was asked about the solid fight he had with Verstappen for the race lead. "It was fun," responded the seven-time world champion. "That's what a world championship fight should look like."
So too was the action that will now have to be judged again by the FIA, the action in turn four on the 48th lap that saw Hamilton and Verstappen go off-track. "I didn't think too much about it. It's hard fighting and I didn't really expect anything less. We didn't hit each other's wheels, which was good." Hamilton's full reaction can be seen in the video.
