During the launch of Red Bull Racing's RB19, a "very special guest" was announced in the person of Stefano Domenicali. However, there was one small problem: the Formula 1 boss was nowhere to be seen.

Domenicali does not show up at RB19 launch

Shortly after the announcement of the future collaboration between Red Bull Racing and Ford, Domenicali was also supposed to come and give a talk, but the F1 boss did not appear on stage when called. Max Verstappen joked that the Italian would have been hiding, but in the end that turned out to be not so far from the truth.

As Daniel Ricciardo and Christian Horner continued with their statements, word came through that Domenicali would not be there after all. Apparently there was a miscommunication between the parties, or perhaps the former Ferrari team boss had actually been hiding.
