Lance Stroll made his debut season in Formula 1 in 2017 for Williams, lining up next to veteran Felipe Massa. In the past, the Canadian driver became champion in both the Italian Formula 4 and in the European Formula 3. Stroll was also part of the Ferrari talent program until 2015. The young Stroll broke the record last season after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for the youngest driver who achieved a podium place. And that in his debut season. Eventually, the Canadian finished twelfth in the standings with 40 points. Stroll struggled along with Williams in 2018, and will make the switch to Force India in 2019, as his father took over the team.
