'Verstappen's order completed - a special superyacht'

Max Verstappen has his new superyacht ready, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Dutchman and his partner, Kelly Piquet, ordered the yacht two years ago, and it was now 'delivered' in Viareggio.

Verstappen is not the first sports superstar to have a yacht made at Viareggio, as Cristiano Ronaldo was also previously spotted at the ports of the Italian village.

According to the Italian newspaper, the Dutchman visited the town near Florence to get his yacht at the Overmarine Shipyard. Early on the afternoon, many cars passed the town as well, heading for what looked liked a major event. It is believed in those cars were Verstappen and Kelly Piquet as well, as they were on their way to embark on the 33-metre-long 'Unleash the Lion'.

During the rest of the afternoon, the Red Bull driver participated in a meeting with the yacht's suppliers, led by the family of the late Giuseppe Balducci. The unveiling was done at a secure location in Versillia.

For now, it is unclear in which port will the yacht have a permanent location. It could remain in Viareggio, could be moved to Monaco where Verstappen lives, but it could have a place in the Netherlands as well.
