Mercedes and Red Bull Racing are fighting for the world title this year, but Toto Wolff is actually missing a team in that battle. The Austrian hopes Ferrari will also be able to compete for the title again from 2022.
For years Mercedes has been able to dominate F1, picking up one world title after another. Ferrari and Red Bull Racing were always at a small distance, fighting together for the second spot. However, Red Bull has now made the move to take the fight to Mercedes, and Wolff hopes Ferrari can do the same soon.

Ferrari in the title race

''We also need Ferrari in that fight. The next championship will be a fight where four or five teams will be competing, and Ferrari has to be among them,'' the Mercedes team boss said to Corriere dello Sport.
''Ferrari is a formidable brand with a good group of people. They also have two good drivers at their disposal. They have recovered from last season, and I really expect them to be at our level next year. Hopefully with Red Bull, McLaren, Aston Martin, Alpine and maybe more teams. That will make the championship much more fun for the viewers'', concludes Wolff.
