What does the future hold for De Vries after his World title?

After winning the World Championship title in Formula E, the rumour mill about a possible move of Nyck de Vries to Formula 1 has been stirred up again. He is already a reserve driver for Mercedes, but is also often mentioned as a candidate for a seat at Williams. Or will he choose to stay and defend his brand new title?

His name is thus associated with Williams, where he has all but lost his chances after the Formula E final race. However, there are also rumours of talks between De Vries and Aston Martin.

The 26-year-old Dutchman could not comment on the reports, but at the same time says he is happy with where he is at the moment. However, after winning the Formula E title, suggestions that he belongs in Formula 1 are getting stronger.

In addition, Mercedes will probably drop out of Formula E after 2022, which would mean that De Vries would not have a seat in the team after next year.
