After qualifying in third place while teammate Charles Leclerc took pole position, Ferrari star Sebastian Vettel remained positive in his outlook to Sunday's Grand Prix, saying his run to turn one could be crucial for the outcome of the race.
For the second weekend in a row, Vettel put his SF90 on P3 while Lewis Hamilton and Leclerc beat him to the front row. Although, the outcome of that same weekend in Singapore must make the German optimistic for tomorrow's outcome.
Still, in qualifying, he wasn't happy with his performance
"I'm not entirely happy I think I couldn't extract the maximum of the car" the four-time champion told Jenson Button on the grid.
"By the time I got to Q3 I thought it was ok. Turn one is a long way and we're on different tyre strategies so the race will be decided tomorrow. The speed is there so lets keep it up.
