Verstappen very happy with Red Bull Racing: 'A reward for the whole team'

Max Verstappen won the Monaco Grand Prix last Sunday. For the Dutchman it was the first time he stepped on the podium in Monaco, so a direct victory tastes all the sweeter.
Verstappen didn't get a chance to improve his time in Q3, so he had to settle for second on the grid. That second place became first, however, as Charles Leclerc's crash had caused a problem in the car that the team hadn't discovered before the race.

Verstappen looks back on victory

''It's special to win this Grand Prix, and even to be on the podium here for the first time. The team was able to turn things around well after a difficult Thursday. Also during the race, where we had everything under control with the right strategy,'' Verstappen said in a video for his sponsor CarNext.com.
''We now have the lead in the drivers' and constructors' standings, and that's a reward for the whole team. They have done a good job, but it is still a long season. We have to keep going and keep working hard. I'm looking forward to the race in Baku, where we can continue this,'' concludes the Red Bull driver.
