Red Bull Racing is very dominant in 2023. The team of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez has won all races so far and also won the sprint in Baku. The Dutchman thinks it is part of Formula 1 that a rule change will one day stop this dominance, although that is not the case at the moment.
Especially in racing, the RB19 has a huge advantage over the competition. In qualifying, Red Bull is still beatable, as Ferrari showed in Azerbaijan. On Sunday, however, Verstappen and Perez seem almost unbeatable. The RB19's top speed with DRS is also remarkable.

Verstappen on rule changes in F1

In the Pardon My Take podcast, Verstappen is asked if he thinks there is any attempt to slow down Red Bull. "Well no, no. I think so far it's been alright. I mean that thing is natural when one team is ahead people start looking into things, but for the moment, I think it is alright," said the two-time world champion.
Verstappen pointed out how rule changes have ended other teams' dominance in the past and argues that this is part of the sport. "We had it before as well, other teams have been dominating and then of course at one point there are changes and teams get upset a bit. That's how Formula 1 goes, you know."
