Verstappen calm after victory: 'I just overtook them one by one'.

Max Verstappen managed to take victory in glorious fashion on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Starting from 14th place, he managed to take the win relatively easily. Afterwards, he could do nothing but be satisfied.

"Of course it was a bit hectic on the first lap to stay out of trouble," Verstappen recalled in an interview with Viaplay. "But after the safety car, when everything calmed down a bit, I just overtook them one by one and drove to the front. The car is just incredibly fast. We saw that yesterday, of course. Everything was just right.

For Verstappen, there was little to worry about. With Sergio Perez's second place and fastest lap, Red Bull secured by far the most points, widening the gap to Ferrari. Verstappen expects the Italians to be strong in the Netherlands.
