UK free-to-air F1 coverage to continue in 2019

The future of free-to-air F1 in the UK was looking limited after Channel 4 were set to lose the rights following the conclusion of the 2018 season. A new deal has now been reached between Sky Sports and Channel 4. Channel 4 will show live coverage of the British Grand Prix and will have extended highlights for all races.
Sky Sports will continue to broadcast every single session throughout the season live on their dedicated F1 channel. Viewing figures have dropped rapidly since F1 moved away from full-time free-to-air in 2012.
The new highlights show could replicate a Match of The Day style show. While the situation isn't ideal, at least F1 isn't falling behind a paywall completely in the UK!
