Mercedes have gone for an aggressive tyre choice in comparison to their rivals Ferrari and Red Bull for the Australian Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton, the current F1 World Champion, has chosen just one set of soft tyres for the opening Grand Prix. He will also take three sets of super soft tyres and nine sets of ultra-soft tyres.
Hamilton’s team mate Valtteri Bottas also selects nine ultra-soft tyres but goes for a two-two split between super-softs and softs.
Both Ferrari drivers take a conservative option. They will take just seven sets of ultrasofts to Melbourne, with room for three sets of softs and three sets of super softs on the plane.
Red Bull drivers will both have eight ultra softs in their garage alongside three sets of supersets and two sets of softs.
Sirotkin and Grosjean are the two drivers to join Hamilton on just one set of soft tyres.
