Three new gearboxes required in Baku

Alexander Albon and Daniil Kvyat from Toro Rosso will have a new gearbox this weekend. The same applies to McLaren driver Lando Norris. The substitution takes place in accordance with the regulations and will therefore not result in grid penalties.

Norris and Kvyat can make the switch without any problems because they didn't finish the previous race. For Albon, he must complete the next six races with the same gearbox component or face a penalty.
