Steiner on Grosjean's horror crash: "We were lucky"

Romain Grosjean experienced an incredible horror crash in the first round of the Bahrain Grand Prix. After colliding with another car on the first lap, he slammed into the guardrail, breaking his car in two and bursting into flames. Fortunately, Grosjean emerged from the conflagration with minor injuries.

"A huge shock," Jack Plooij explains to the Haas team principal Guenther Steiner. “Yes, it was a big one. But luckily it looks like he's okay. He's on his way to the hospital for checkups, but he's completely conscious. He has minor burns on his hands and ankles, but otherwise he is fine. If there is more damage, for example due to the impact of the crash, they check it in the hospital. ”
