The news broke this morning that Leclerc will be moving to Ferrari next season; where he will repalace the departing Kimi Raikkonen.
This switch has been on the cards for a while now with Ferrari looking forward to the future with the young driver replacing the veteran driver.
Vassuer revealed that he will always keep an eye on Leclerc's performances even though he is now going to be driving for Ferrari.
"It has been a great pleasure to support Charles Leclerc in his rookie year in Formula One," was what was said in Sauber's statement. "Since his arrival, he has given the team great motivation.

"We have constantly improved and we will work hard until the end of this season to achieve the best possible results together. We are aware of Charles' talent and are confident he will have a bright future. We will keep on following him closely and we wish him the best on his path."
