Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz believes the Formula 1 car he is driving is getting a bit better. The Spaniard told reporters this after the weekend's sprint race in Austria and feels that the balance of the SF23 is increasingly being found.
Sainz was very fast in the first laps at the Austrian Grand Prix. But to his regret, the Spaniard was not allowed to pass teammate Charles Leclerc and had to enter the pit lane at the same time as the Monegasque driver. Despite these scenes, Sainz was still happy with the car in front of him.

"I chose to use a very aggressive balance, and I probably overdid it. As a result, I suffered a lot of oversteering in the high-speed corners, which is anything but ideal," Sainz told reporters.
"I think it was a pure balance thing that we elected to drive on the car today in the wet. I think we should guide ourselves by the balance in the dry when we optimise the car, and when we did that, it looks like we've picked up some decent speed in the high-speed corners this weekend," Sainz concluded.
