Red Bull shake-up continues as more senior figures exit Milton Keynes

GPblog understands that as many as four administrative figures have left their roles at the team’s Milton Keynes headquarters.

The departures come amid reports of earlier reassurances given to staff following the dismissal of two other senior administrative employees alongside former team boss Christian Horner.

While the exact reasons behind the latest exits remain unclear, they are believed to form part of a wider internal reshuffle as the team continues to streamline operations.

The changes follow the earlier removals of former group chief marketing and commercial officer Oliver Hughes and former group communications director Paul Smith, both of whom left shortly after Horner’s departure.

The most recent exits also come from similar areas within the organisation, with communications, marketing and human resources departments all affected ahead of the new season.

Director of Partnerships Julia George, who served at the team from 2022, and Simon Smith-Wright, who has held the role of Group Marketing Director since December 2024, were among the recent staff members who exited the team.

Alice Hedworth, who joined in mid-2021 and worked as Senior Communications Manager, as well as Joanna Fleet, Human Resources Director for Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology, who had been with the team since 2013, also departed.

Earlier, GPblog reported that Ferrari had strengthened the team with the addition of Guillaume Dezoteux.

The Italian engineer will start at the Maranello-based outfit as Head of Performance Operations.

Dezoteux spent no fewer than 18 years within the Red Bull family. Over the past two seasons, he worked as Head of Vehicle Performance for Racing Bulls.
