Max Verstappen's mistake in Turn 10 had consequences in FP2 of the Australian Grand Prix. The second session of the day also began in a less than ideal way for the Dutchman, after the RB22 stopped under him at the pit exit. The four-time world champion was then pushed back into the garage.
With ten minutes to go, Verstappen also made a rare mistake, running wide and then through the gravel trap in Turn 10.
According to Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz, the incident had further consequences as well. He said: "They have seen the telemetry that Max has made a mess of the floor.
"There's grass on the front wing and the front part of the floor. Max has damaged the bargeboard and the T-tray."
