Prost believes Renault will have the best engine in F1

Alain Prost thinks that Renault will eventually have the best engine in Formula 1, despite it potentially being the slowest of the four engine suppliers in the sport.

Renault were already lagging behind Mercedes and Ferrari, but Honda seem to be on at least the same level as the French manufacturer.

Despite this, four-time World Champion and now Renault ambassador Prost told Marca: “We know we’re very close to the engine limits right now. Sometimes reliability issues are unavoidable. It’s part of the game and we must accept it.
