The Portuguese Grand Prix will most likely take place behind closed doors. In 2020 it was one of the few races where spectators were allowed, but due to the current corona measures that will not be possible now.
After 24 years, for the first time, a Formula 1 race was organised in Portugal again, and it took place at the circuit of Portimao. There was a lot of praise for the track, both from viewers and the drivers.

No spectators this time in Portimao

However, the fans will not be able to attend this time, reports Motorsportweek.com. The same applied to the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna. During the race weekend in Bahrain, a small number of spectators were admitted, provided that they were vaccinated against Covid-19 or could prove that they had recovered from the virus.
The Grand Prix weekend in Portugal will take place on the weekend of April 30 to May 2.
