In terms of the F1 Power Rankings, Oscar Piastri also managed to outperform his Dutch rival there as well. The drivers who finished on the podium in Jeddah also claimed the top three positions this week in these standings.

Piastri leads, Verstappen again second and tied with Leclerc

Piastri received the highest mark in this week's power rankings with a 9.2. "Since his late-race mistake on home soil in Australia, Oscar Piastri has been a man on a mission – winning three of the last four races and finishing third in the other. He reached the top step at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix via a statement tussle with Max Verstappen at the first corner and a controlled performance when he moved into clean air after the Dutchman’s penalty," the five-person jury wrote on F1.com.
Verstappen, who finished in P2 after the five-second penalty he received, and Charles Leclerc, who scored Ferrari's first Grand Prix podium in 2025, both received an 8.8.
"Verstappen cut a frustrated figure post-race, admitting that his Turn 1 battle with Piastri and the penalty that followed may well have cost him victory. Still, it was a typically determined display from the reigning four-time World Champion, who remains very much in the championship hunt as a result."

Piastri leads overall standings ahead of Verstappen

Similarly to the drivers' standings, the Australian driver leads the power rankings ahead of Max Verstappen.
In terms of the drivers' standings, Piastri has collected 99 points so far in 2025, 10 more than his teammate Lando Norris, and 12 more than the defending world champion.
