Sergio Perez has driven his first 'real' miles for Red Bull. During the second day of testing the Mexican was behind the wheel all day. He drove a total of 117 laps, without any major problems. The Mexican is pleased with his first test day for the team.
Yesterday Max Verstappen kicked off for Red Bull. Saturday was all about Perez. The new Red Bull driver set the eighth fastest time. The season has now really started for him.

Successful first test day for Perez

In Bahrain, he drove a total of 117 laps on the second day of the pre-season test. He looks back on the test day. "It was great to drive a full test day in the RB16B. Despite the tricky conditions, we did a lot of work, and the car is still being developed a lot further. It's great to work with the team, and I'm starting to get used to everything more and more", Perez said in a Red Bull Racing press release.
He continued: "I can already feel the potential. I'll be back in the car tomorrow morning as well, so I'm looking forward to putting in some more laps", Perez said.
