Jamie Chadwick has tipped Oscar Piastri to have the edge over Lando Norris at this weekend’s Qatar Grand Prix.
“If there's any sort of positive feeling going into this weekend, for sure, Oscar should have it.”

The British racer, who made an appearance on the Sky Sports F1 show, highlighted how the changing conditions of the Qatar Grand Prix, compared to circuits where Piastri had struggled, could play into the hands of the young Australian.
“I think in terms of tracks, if you look at Vegas and you look at Qatar, they couldn't be more extreme in terms of differences in track layout, temperature, grip, everything. It's so polar opposite: tyre degradation, everything. If there's any sort of positive feeling going into this weekend, for sure, Oscar should have it," she said.
Piastri has suffered a dip in form in comparison to Norris, particularly since the aftermath of the Italian Grand Prix. The Australian driver has failed to record a top-three finish since the race in Monza.

However, Piastri boasts fond memories of racing in Qatar, finishing ahead of Norris in both the 2023 and 2024 editions of the Grand Prix in Lusail.

The 24-year-old, like his McLaren teammate Norris, suffered a disqualification in the aftermath of the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Piastri currently sits 24 points adrift of his title rivals, with two races and a sprint left on the calendar.
