Isack Hadjar celebrated his first Formula 1 podium in Zandvoort, joined by Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri. But the French rookie didn’t get to enjoy his trophy for long—it snapped during a team photo with Racing Bulls. Thankfully, the damage is already being taken care of.
On Saturday afternoon, Isack Hadjar qualified fourth and held his ground against the quicker Ferraris and Mercedes throughout the race.
At times, he even closed in on Verstappen, though a move never came. When Lando Norris retired, it opened the door for the Frenchman to clinch third at the Dutch Grand Prix.
After the race, though, the 21-year-old’s celebrations took a hit. While posing with his team, his very first F1 trophy split in two. Hadjar, however, took it in stride and laughed it off.

New trophy on the way for Hadjar

Royal Delft, the company behind the Zandvoort race trophies, shared a heartfelt message for Hadjar on Tuesday afternoon.
On its Instagram account, the company posted a story showing a new trophy being hand-painted, tagging both Hadjar and the Racing Bulls team. That means the Frenchman will soon receive a brand-new trophy to mark his sensational podium in the Netherlands.
