New Red Bull team principal almost speechless after Verstappen's performance

Laurent Mekies has achieved his first victory as the team boss of Red Bull Racing. However, he himself takes no credit, as it goes completely to the team and Max Verstappen.

‘’What to say?’’, Mekies begins, almost speechless, at Sky Sports. "The guys did a very good job. Max was under massive pressure for these 15 laps and he didn't do one single mistake. Honestly, I think him and the team have extracted everything out of the car."

‘’We probably didn't have the fastest car today, but ultimately managed to stay there, manage the tyres and to keep the McLaren under control. So a very impressive job from the guys."

Which setup does Verstappen use for the qualification?

Whether Red Bull manages to achieve this for the qualification and Sunday's Grand Prix remains to be seen. Red Bull chose an aggressive setup, which Verstappen gladly utilised on the straight paths. However, it is going to rain on Sunday, so Helmut Marko already mentioned that they cannot go for the same setup.
