Season Eight of Drive to Survive is set to be released today on Netflix. One face fans will not see appear a lot is Bearman, the Haas driver said on BBC Radio 1.
The Briton was a rookie last season, and outscored his teammate Esteban Ocon in the standings, thanks in part to a stunning performance in Mexico City. Many already referred to him as Lewis Hamilton's 'heir apparent' at Ferrari.

Bearman footage 'straight in the bin'

The host, Greg James, was excited to mention the series, but Bearman quickly said: "Don't get your hopes up, because I've done about three or four days of filming with them, I've never seen a single second of it played.
"I was so excited the first time I did a whole day of filming with them. Not a second. Straight in the bin."
The duo concluded by saying this interview might get Netflix's attention, so this will not be repeated next year.
"Maybe this will work. Maybe now, this is our chance. They might make an episode about this day," Bearman added.
