Mick Schumacher, the son of F1 legend Michael Schumacher, admits he wanted to do racing from a very young age. The 19-year-old won his first F3 race the other week at Spa-Francorchamps. The same venue where his dad won his first F1 race.
Commenting on his past, he admits he always wanted to follow his dad into motorsport.
"I always did different sports, but there was never this feeling that I wanted to do that in the future. There was always a feeling that I wanted to do racing," Schumacher told the BBC.
Growing up in the same house as a 7-time F1 World Champion, he must have picked up plenty of tips. As many people in his generation did, he looked up to his dad as a racing role model.
"He [Michael Schumacher] had a huge influence. He's my idol, and I'm following everything he did and trying to look at something I could use myself. He had a huge role in how I'm driving now."

Without a doubt, it'd be a great thing to see Mick Schumacher in an F1 car. It'll probably be something Liberty Media are after as well!
