Having started the season off on the right foot, McLaren's team principal, Andrea Stella, now looks toward the first sprint event of the season, doesn't want to let his foot off the gas since he is aware the papaya team's competitors have not yet shown their full might.

Stella looks ahead to China Grand Prix

"Following a victory in the first race of the season, we now immediately shift focus to the Chinese Grand Prix. As the first Sprint event of 2025, we know it offers more opportunity to score points, but it also provides the challenge of trying to maximise our learnings in the new car with reduced practice time," said the Italian in a McLaren press release.
All in all, according to Stella, McLaren can look back on a strong weekend. "The team have built a quick car, which has given us a competitive start to the season. Both Lando and Oscar performed excellently in Melbourne, but we must remain grounded and continue to learn as we haven’t seen everything our competitors have to offer. We’ll give it our all once again," the Italian concluded.
Next weekend, European fans can once again set the alarms early for the Sprint weekend in China, although Sunday's Grand Prix will not start as early as Australia's, but it is scheduled to start at, 07:00 UK time, 08:00 CET.
