McLaren, who were competing with Ferrari for third place in the Constructors' Championship last year, has had a particularly bad first race weekend of the season. Lando Norris, Daniel Ricciardo and Zak Brown looked slightly defeated after the first F1 weekend.
For McLaren the weekend was not good from Saturday onwards as the qualification of Ricciardo in P18 was particularly bad. Initially he was held responsible because he was infected with corona the week before, but after the race on Sunday we knew enough.

The McLaren drivers reacted together to the race weekend in Bahrain and seem disappointed. There is some cautious good news, though. Indeed, the team seems resilient and is already at full strength to find a solution. The mood the team wants to convey seems mildly positive said Norris: "We all know it was a very tough weekend. We weren't in the position we wanted to be in. There is a lot of work to do and we are already working on that. We are already working hard to find improvements for next weekend." Teammate Ricciardo stands by him: "That's all we can do. It's a team sport, so we can only help each other and work together. Keep riding with us!"
Team boss Brown responded below this video on Twitter with a tweet of his own, saying he is working hard to find a solution and thanking the fans for their support. The American closed with a look ahead to Saudi Arabia where the team will again give everything.
