Max Verstappen has tried his hand at cricket, and he has been given a lesson in the sport by three England cricket players. Reece Topley, Will Jacks and Issy Wong tested the Red Bull star's skills, although Verstappen had never played the sport before.
Verstappen's discomfort was evident right at the start of Red Bull Racing's video, with the Dutchman never even seeing the sport of cricket. Although he has all the equipment needed, he has no idea how to hold the cricket bat, much to the amusement of the cricketers.

How good is Verstappen at cricket?

Once Verstappen has the bat properly in his hand, he turns out to be quite handy at the sport. Verstappen hits three balls bowled to him, in the so-called Castore Cricket Challenge. A few times, Verstappen also hits the ball the wrong way, forcing the video's production team to swerve: "I almost kill someone," Verstappen states.
Finally, Verstappen is put to a real test when one of the men goes to bowl again the Dutchman. That proves too powerful for Verstappen, only able to have heard the ball passing him, unable to see see it. Soon, however, a challenge more suited to Verstappen is scheduled. That is when the foursome will dive into the racing simulator.
