Red Bull wants to take world title again in 2023: 'Broad-based'

Red Bull Racing's performance in 2022 still makes Helmut Marko feel good. At the same time, the team's advisor knows that in sport, you are only as good as your last result, which is why he is already looking ahead to next season in conversation with ServusTV.

It will be complicated for the Austrians next calendar year to at least match last season's performance. After all, Red Bull managed to secure both the world title and the constructors' championship, ending the racing year brilliantly.

It thus also seems to have an edge going into 2023, when Mercedes and Ferrari will try to thwart its rival. For Marko, it is clear that Verstappen will also have a shot at the world title next year, although he knows Red Bull will have to work hard to do so.

"Of course we want to win in 2023 as well," Marko stressed to the medium. "We are a close-knit group and have a very good, young team coming up. That means we are very broad-based. We can recover and fight back. And with Max, we know he always gets the best out of the car."
